As Muslims, we begin all our actions in the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, to remember that everything is for Him. We begin in the name of God with the hope that we will succeed, be rewarded, and be blessed.

when you recite Bismillah before starting any work or before going to bed at night, you are actually reciting a short prayer that asks Allah to protect you from evil, and may He grant your health and well-being.

If a person says Bismillah at the beginning of a task or work, then he will be helped and supported by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. His job will be easier for him. That way, he will be able to achieve his goal easily, with minimal effort.

We recite this before every prayer: “In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” and when we enter a mosque or a place where we gather for worship, we say: Are When we eat or drink something we read it and when someone sneezes, we say “Alhamdulillah” which means “thanks to Allah (ﷻ)” or “All praise be to Allah(ﷻ)”.

It is important to remember that even though we are thankful for all the blessings Allah (ﷻ) has given us but at the same time we should not take anything for granted because someday those things will pass away but our relationship with Allah (ﷻ) will last forever.

We all know and recognize the immense value of “Bismillah”. However, the significance of this great sentence is underestimated. It is so important that if we miss it, we will not get anything very important: grace and mercy of Allah (SWT). In fact, even if a Muslim has performed the prayers properly, performed ablutions, recited his supplications, and recited the verses of the Qur’an and other good deeds, these deeds will not be accepted without “Bismillah”.

How many times does Bismillah hir Rahman Nir Raheem appear in the Quran?

The word Bismillah Rahmani Rahim occurs in 114 places in the Holy Quran, the beginning of every Surah except Surah Al-Tawbah and it occurs twice in Surah An-Naml First in the beginning and second in verse 30.
